OCA Barcelona is an architecture office founded in 2015, aiming to join four different and young personalities and become a true laboratory to find the best solution for each project, mainly focused on public commissions.
From OCA we like to take profit of Barcelona’s engagement with public space and promote its commitment abroad.
Bernardo García Morales (Santa Cruz de Tenerife) is an architect graduated from ETSAB (Barcelona School of Architecture). He has a master degree on Contemporary Project Design and also followed studies in History of Art (Open university).
He has collaborated with various architectural offices (AMP arquitectos, EMBT arquitectes, MIAS architects) and works also as an independent artist.
Hernan Lleida (Vilanova i la Geltrú) is an architect graduated from ETSAB (Barcelona School of Architecture) in 2015. He has also followed studies in Fine Arts at UB (University of Barcelona) to further develop the artistic side of architecture.
He’s worked with Josep Ferrando arch., Solà Font-Crossas Armengol urbanists and Derryk Dettinger arch. developing a wide range of urban and architectural projects.
He enjoyes illustrating books like PostSuburbia by Zaida Muxí and ephemeral projects like Neu Morta where he was awarded the 2015 FAD opinion award.
Marc Subirana (Igualada) is an architect graduated from ETSAB (Barcelona School of Architecture).
Associate at MIAS Architects in Barcelona since 2012, collaborating in projects such as FC Barcelona Stadium and Andorra Telecom Headquarters, currently underconstruction.
He lectured at TED 2011 Barcelona.
Biel Susanna (Barcelona) is an architect graduated from ETSAB (Barcelona School of Architecture). In 2013-14 he studied at Aalto University in Helsinki.
He won the “UIA-HYP Cup 2014 International Ideas Competition in Architectural Design”, chaired by Daniel Liebskind.
Before founding OCA, he worked in several offices such as Fabre-Speller Architectes in Paris, Cloud9 and Jorge Vidal in Barcelona.
Besides that, he likes drumming and dreaming.
